OVERVIEW

Nelson has extensive experience in external and internal audit.  He is responsible for the planning and execution of the Maple Group internal audit programme.  This includes conducting onsite audits across all entities and providing global assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the operational risk management process, corporate governance and system of internal controls.

BACKGROUND

Previously, Nelson worked for Grant Thornton in their Restructuring and Insolvency division and with Deloitte in the Public Accounting division, both in the US and Cayman Islands.
