Lynn is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Tax team in the Maples Group’s Dublin office. Lynn is a qualified solicitor in Ireland and an associate of the Irish Tax Institute with significant experience advising investment funds, SPVs and corporates on the Irish tax regime with a particular focus on tax planning for international clients. She acts for a broad range of international clients including investment funds, asset managers, investors, international corporates, financial institutions and family offices. She has particular experience in advising investment funds, financial services clients, property funds and SPVs on all aspects of cross-border structuring including advice on VAT, establishment of fund platforms and financing.
Lynn also advises issuers and arrangers on the tax structuring aspects of securitisation structures including CLOs, RMBS and repacks. In addition, Lynn has extensive experience in advising on the tax aspects of corporate transactions including M&A, employee incentive schemes and the establishment of limited partnership structures. Lynn is a member of the FATCA and CRS group of the Irish Debt Securities Association. She is Secretary of the Irish branch of the International Fiscal Association and a member of the VAT Committee of the Irish Funds industry association.
Lynn joined the Maples Group in 2011. Prior to joining, Lynn was an associate in the tax practice of a large Irish corporate law firm.
