Luke is a partner of Maples and Calder’s Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team in the Maples Group’s London office. He has a broad range of experience in commercial litigation, arbitration and restructuring and insolvency matters, with a particular emphasis on complex and multi-jurisdictional cases. Luke also has considerable experience in banking and finance and investment fund disputes, company law and trust disputes and regularly advises financial institutions, investors and insolvency practitioners on contentious matters and insolvencies.
Luke joined the Maples Group in 2012. He previously worked for Linklaters in London, and Mallesons in Australia. Luke has been recommended in Chambers Global and as a ‘Leading Individual’ by Legal 500.

2009 – Admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales (not practising)
2012 – Admitted as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands
2024 – Admitted as a solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands)
