OVERVIEW

Jo is an associate of Maples and Calder's Regulatory & Financial Services team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. She provides advice on a wide range of regulatory matters including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, Cayman Islands Monetary Authority licensing and registrations, economic substance, AEOI and data protection. 

BACKGROUND

Jo joined the Maples Group in 2022. Prior to joining, Jo was based in Melbourne, Australia where she worked for top-tier international law firm Allens as Special Counsel in the Funds, Superannuation and Wealth team. Her work experience in Australia also includes KPMG, where she was Associate Director in the Regulation and Compliance team and King & Wood Mallesons (formerly Mallesons Stephen Jaques), where she was Senior Associate in the Banking & Finance team.

Jo is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association.
