With over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jelena currently leads the EMEA Middle Office and Data Management team at the Maples Group, in addition to overseeing the firm’s global regulatory reporting products.
Jelena has specialized knowledge in key regulatory frameworks such as AIFMD, UCITS, EMIR, ESG/SFDR, Form PF, Form CPO-PQR, and Open Protocol (ex OPERA).
She maintains strategic engagement with the internal Management Company (ManCo) and Designated Persons, providing subject matter expertise to support regulatory compliance and effective governance oversight.
She is passionate about leading high-performing teams, driving transformation initiatives, and fostering collaboration across cross-functional global stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient outcomes.
Jelena’s career spans leadership roles at prominent institutions including Citi and State Street, where she gained extensive expertise in data management operations, data governance, and regulatory reporting.
Jelena is a professional member of the Institute of Bankers (IOB) and American Chamber of Commerce Ireland. She has been elected Vice Chair of the Irish Funds Association for the Middle Office working group.
Jelena holds an MSc in Financial Services in Risk Management, Ethics, and Corporate Governance from UCD (2018).
Also, she holds a professional qualification through the Institute of Bankers (IOB) – Regulatory Reporting in ROI (2022).
In addition, She holds a Diploma in Data Management & Analytics from DBS (2015).
She was also part of the Women in Global Organisations Peer Mentoring Programme through American Chamber of Commerce Ireland (2024).
