Hilary Heelan

Hilary is an Associate in Maples and Calder’s Funds & Investment Management team at the Maples Group’s Dublin office. She advises domestic and international asset managers on the establishment, authorisation and ongoing operation of Irish regulated investment funds, including UCITS and AIFs structured as ICAVs, unit trusts, CCFs, investment companies and ILPs. Hilary has significant experience advising on money market products, as well as private credit and private equity strategies within QIAIF and LQIAIF frameworks. In sustainable finance, Hilary advises on SFDR classification and disclosures and EU Taxonomy considerations. Hilary also advises on UCITS management company and AIFM matters, including governance, outsourcing, policies and fitness & probity.
