OVERVIEW

Declan has nearly 30 years of experience in the areas of fund management, fund directorship, compliance, risk, finance and operations. An executive director at a number of AIFM & UCITS management companies, he has held various PCF roles throughout his career including a number of designated person roles.  Declan has been a fund director since 2014 serving on regulated fund structure with combined assets in excess of €14 billion predominately specialising in real estate, private equity, long equity and fund of funds.  

BACKGROUND

Declan has worked on numerous fund establishments and restructures over the past 10 years.  Previously, he worked for Key Capital Group, Goodbody Fund Management and Intertrust Alternative Investment Fund Management.  Declan has also worked at the Central Bank of Ireland as a former Senior Regulator within the Investment Firms & Fund Supervision department and at Kennedy Wilson where he acted as a Director to several regulated funds and various SPV boards.
