OVERVIEW

David is a partner of Maples and Calder's Corporate team in the Maples Group’s Jersey office. He advises on cross-border M&A, IPOs and private equity transactions. David has acted on a wide range of Jersey corporate finance (particularly AIM, main market and US listings of Jersey companies) and mergers and acquisitions transactions, and provides general corporate advice. David also has particular expertise in relation to large M&A transactions conducted via Jersey schemes of arrangement.

BACKGROUND

David joined the Maples Group in 2023. He was previously counsel at another large firm in Jersey, where he has practised since 2009. Prior to that, David trained and practised corporate law with an emphasis on private equity and M&A at the London office of the international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges. David is a Jersey advocate and was called to the Jersey bar in December 2014.
