OVERVIEW

Caitriona is a partner of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Dublin office. She advises on the establishment, operation and regulation of a wide spectrum of UCITS and AIFMD funds, with extensive experience in managed account platforms, closed-ended structures, alternative UCITS, LQIAIFs and other specialised fund products. Caitriona also advises asset managers establishing Irish authorised AIFMs, UCITS and MiFID management companies.

Caitriona spent a number of years with the Group's law firm in Hong Kong providing Irish funds solutions to the Asian client base of investment managers seeking to raise capital from European investors and speaking regularly at industry events regarding European fund products.

BACKGROUND

Caitriona joined the Maples Group in 2012, following a number of years with a leading Irish financial services law firm.
