Areas of Expertise
Akeel specialises in providing client accounting services to structured finance, investment fund and cryptocurrency vehicles, as well as special purpose acquisition companies and private wealth trusts. He has extensive experience in both IFRS and US GAAP in the asset management industry.
Previously, Akeel worked at KPMG Cayman as an Audit Assistant Manager in the asset management division. Prior to KPMG, he worked as an Audit Senior at PwC Jamaica where he provided external audit services to companies in the financial services, real estate, telecommunications and manufacturing industries.
