OVERVIEW

Aaron is a partner of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Dublin office.  He advises on a wide variety of legal and regulatory issues facing Irish domiciled collective investment schemes (CIS) and has particular expertise in the establishment, operation and regulation of all types of Irish CIS, including UCITS and AIFs.  He currently sits on industry association committees dealing with money market funds and limited partnership reform.  He also advises a wide variety of fund service providers, including AIFMs, delegates of AIFMs, administrators, custodians / depositaries and prime brokers.

BACKGROUND

Aaron joined the Maples Group in 2014, having spent the previous four years working in the Dublin office of an international law firm.  Prior to this, he worked in a leading Irish law firm, where he also trained. 

Aaron is currently ranked by IFLR1000 as a 'Notable Practitioner'.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Aaron is a member of the Irish Funds' Working Groups dealing with Money Market Funds and the reform of the Investment Limited Partnership structure.
