Maples and Calder, the Maples Group's law firm, is pleased to announce that Aisling Dwyer, a Partner in its Asia Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team, based in Hong Kong, has been recognised by Asian Legal Business ("ALB") in their list of Asia's Top 10 Offshore Litigators 2023.  Published annually, ALB features top disputes practitioners working in offshore law firms in Asia who have successfully handled significant cases and exceeded client expectations in the process.

As a seasoned offshore litigator, Aisling regularly advises ultra-high-net-worth families, financial institutions, private equity houses and major corporates, often as part of a global litigation team working on proceedings across several jurisdictions. Aisling’s restructuring and insolvency portfolio spans major and often contentious restructurings of Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands ("BVI") entities including applications for the appointment of provisional liquidators, schemes of arrangement, take privates and capital reductions of entities listed on the stock exchanges of Hong Kong and Singapore.

Commenting on the recognition, Aisling said: "I am delighted to be named among Asia's top offshore litigators. I am grateful for the invaluable support from my team in our Hong Kong and Singapore offices, as well as my teammates in our BVI and Cayman Islands offices with whom I work closely on all court proceedings. In addition, I am extremely thankful to our clients for their continued loyalty and support, which is central to the success of our Dispute Resolution & Insolvency practice in Asia and indeed globally."

Aisling has also been selected as a Who's Who Legal Thought Leader: Mainland China and Hong Kong SAR 2023 in the field of restructuring and insolvency, achieving this recognition for the third consecutive year.
