OVERVIEW

Christopher is of counsel of Maples and Calder's Corporate team in the Maples Group's London office.  He advises on both Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law and has extensive experience of a wide range of corporate matters, with particular expertise in public and private M&A transactions, stock exchange listings (particularly special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) on NYSE / NASDAQ, Euronext (Amsterdam) and London Stock Exchange), corporate restructurings and joint ventures.  He also regularly advises on finance and investment funds matters.

BACKGROUND

Christopher joined the Maples Group in 2014.  He previously worked as Legal Counsel for Investec Bank plc and, prior to that, worked as an Associate in the Corporate team at Weil, Gotshal & Manges in London.  Christopher has been recommended in the Legal 500's Offshore law firms in London rankings for his 'particular expertise in M&A transactions'.
