Eimear is co-head of Maples and Calder’s Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group’s Dublin office. She is our lead across public markets; UCITS and ETFs. She specialises in the structuring of regulated funds, advising a wide variety of asset managers, issuers and investment banks across a broad range of asset classes including highly liquid, distressed situations, private debt and credit, loan origination, hedge, fund of funds, master feeders, managed account platforms and bespoke structures.
Eimear also advises on the establishment, ongoing operation and regulation of Irish MiFID firms, UCITS management companies, AIFMs and Super ManCos.
Eimear joined the Maples Group in 2010. She previously worked for a large Irish corporate law firm. Eimear has held the prestigious roles of Chair and Deputy Chair of the Irish Funds Legal & Regulatory Working Group over successive terms, retiring this year after more than 10 years of service on the Working Group.
