OVERVIEW

Sofia specialises in using trusts, private trust companies, foundations and offshore structures to help high net worth families achieve family succession, estate and tax planning and philanthropic objectives.  She also works with family offices and assists companies with designing and implementing employee benefit trust structures.  Sofia is a recognised thought leader and has authored several articles on the use of various trust structures.

BACKGROUND

Previously, Sofia worked as a US tax lawyer at an international US law firm in Hong Kong. Whilst at the law firm, she advised high net worth clients on trust formation and restructuring, family business succession, charitable giving and US estate, gift and income tax matters.
