Expertise

Aristos has been head of the Maples Group's Litigation and Insolvency team since 2007, and is an expert in complex international insolvencies, restructurings and security enforcements.  His practice focuses on the Cayman Islands financial services sector, dealing with banks, insurers, investment funds and financing structures that have collapsed or are in default, and representing clients in any resulting litigation.  Aristos has particular experience in distressed investment funds, acting for funds, their directors, service providers and counterparties in a variety of major cross border disputes and crisis events.
