About the Role

The Assistant Vice President (“AVP”) within the Fiduciary Department reports to the Vice Presidents (“VPs”) and ultimately to the Senior Vice President (“SVP”) – Head of Office. 

AVP is responsible for undertaking a number of new business/transactions, whether fiduciary or administrative in nature each year, supports and administering a portfolio of clients.  This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • supporting the VPs for a portfolio of clients
  • may act as a director on new vehicles in an individual capacity, attending board meetings, signing minutes and fulfilling all fiduciary duties as appropriate
  • undertaking a number of new client/transactions each year
  • supporting the VPs in reviewing transaction documents, providing written comments to parties as appropriate or attending conference calls as required
  • liaising with arrangers, investment managers, lawyers and other relevant parties concerning the setting up of new business as well as acting as a point of contact for ongoing issue resolution, escalating to VPs or SVP if necessary

The AVP is supporting the VPs in ensuring that Companies under his/her management are compliant with the regulations. This include but is not limited to: 

  • Any KYC issue which may arise
  • Compliance regulations which involves
  • Ensuring that client meet Netherlands Business Acceptance Committee (LBAC) Procedures and Business Acceptance Committee (BAC) Procedures 
  • Supporting the VP in the preparation of the BAC and LBAC notes  
    Supporting the VP in ensuring the clients complies with regulatory requirements, such as FATCA, CRS, Market Abuse Regulation, EMIR, Securitisation Regulation, corporate governance, filing of the annual accounts and tax compliance.

EXPERIENCE

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following: 

  • Master of Laws (LL.M) or any other relevant legal qualification
  • 2 to 3 years of experience ideally gained in financial services
  • Strong knowledge of structured finance transactions, capital markets, Dutch governance and relevant Dutch and international laws and regulatory
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written)
