Position: Senior Vice President / Vice President - Operational Risk and Capital and Financial Management - MPMF Fund Management (Ireland) Limited 
Location: Dublin

About the Role
The successful candidate will play a leadership role as part of our growing fund management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of people across multiple functions including operational risk and capital and financial management and play a leading role in the implementation of strategic initiatives, client on-boarding and on-going client management

Duties include managing the operational risk and capital and financial management functions within the business; working with the other members of the management team to promote a positive culture across all functions with a focus on client delivery, operational deliverables, risk mitigation and compliance.

EXPERIENCE

What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operational risk and capital and financial management in a fund management firm including responsibility for fund delegate (investment managers, administrators and distributors) diligence and oversight  and preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting workings/reports. The candidate will have a proven track record in assessing operational and risk models for a broad range of service providers, and identifying and addressing issues.

The successful candidate will attend meetings with potential and new clients, develop relationships with clients and delegates and complete due diligence meetings.

The Senior Vice President will monitor and report on the effectiveness of delegates and the application of controls and regulations. He/she is responsible for preparing and delivering reports to the Board of Directors, Fund Boards and internal committees as required. The person will be well-versed in latest regulatory developments, and have a track record of managing high performance teams.

Other duties will include liaising with regulators as and when required.

The candidate will have an obsession with timeliness, precision, professionalism and client focus and will demonstrate superior leadership skills, sound judgement and effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred candidates will have a third level education in a finance related discipline.

He/ she will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role for an Asset Manager, Management Company or Credit Institution. Strong knowledge and experience of UCITS and AIFMD is a must.
