OVERVIEW

Timothy is an associate of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office.  He advises on the establishment, launch and maintenance of investment funds, including registered mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds.  Timothy also advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.

BACKGROUND

Timothy joined the Maples Group in 2021.  He previously trained and worked at Linklaters in London where he completed a secondment to Hong Kong in 2018 advising on deals in the Asia Pacific region including China. Timothy has been published in several leading academic and industry journals, including the International Insolvency Review, Journal of Banking Regulation, the Victorian Law Institute Journal and the South African Law Journal.

Timothy is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and The City of London Solicitors' Company.
