OVERVIEW

Rebecca is the global head of the professional support lawyer ("PSL") team and is based in the Cayman Islands office of Maples and Calder, the Maples Group's law firm.  She manages a team of PSLs, each of whom has a high level of responsibility supporting lawyers and professionals across the Maples Group.  The team promotes excellence and is committed to improving standards, technical expertise and efficiencies to ensure the Group's lawyers and professionals provide the highest calibre of service.

Rebecca works closely with Nick Evans to lead and develop the PSL function to support the increasing needs of the evolving Maples Group business and its clients.

BACKGROUND

 

Rebecca joined the Maples Group as the firm's sole professional support lawyer in 2006. Prior to that, she trained and qualified as a solicitor in the Employment team at a law firm in London.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Rebecca is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Cayman Islands Society for Human Resource Professionals.
