OVERVIEW

Patrick has over 15 years' experience in the alternative investment industry, eight of which were dedicated to operational due diligence and fund governance.  He serves as an independent director on a wide range of alternative investment funds including hedge funds, fund of funds, segregated portfolio companies, private equity vehicles and related structures.  

BACKGROUND

Previously, Patrick worked at the Ontario Public Service Employee Union Pension Fund where he championed the development and implementation of infrastructure for middle office and operational due diligence functions.  He was also responsible for providing operational risk oversight to the internal trading, external manager investment programme and service providers.  Prior to this, he was a Manager at the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board in their due diligence and advisory function in their external manager investment programme.  Patrick also served in financial services with CITCO Fund Services, Bank of America Trust and Banking Corporation and Deloitte.
