OVERVIEW

Jack is head of Maples and Calder's Corporate team in the Maples Group's London office.  He specialises in corporate matters, including advising financial institutions and public and private businesses on a full range of corporate transactions.  His extensive experience includes IPOs, particularly special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) on NYSE / NASDAQ, Euronext (Amsterdam) and London Stock Exchange.  He also acts on public and private M&A, joint ventures, buyouts, restructurings, debt financings and security arrangements as well as management incentive structures.  Jack’s expertise also covers investment funds, and he is head of our Process Agency Services team in London.

BACKGROUND

Jack joined the Maples Group in 2007 and was elected as a partner in 2011.  He previously worked for Nabarro LLP in London. 

Jack is ranked in Chambers UK and has been recommended by Legal 500. Clients describe Jack as "highly experienced, pragmatic and aware of the latest technical and commercial developments in SPAC structures", a "key source of Cayman law knowledge" and "his assistance is invaluable".
