OVERVIEW

Brock is an associate of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office.  He advises sponsors and institutional investors on a range of private equity and hedge fund matters, including fund formation, fund restructuring, corporate transactions and Cayman Islands regulatory compliance matters. He also advises on a broad range of corporate advisory and unit trust matters.

BACKGROUND

Brock joined the Maples Group in 2017.  Prior to this he was a senior associate in the investment funds team at Herbert Smith Freehills and Allen & Overy in Sydney, and a solicitor in the funds and financial services team at Chapman Tripp in New Zealand.
