OVERVIEW

Anthony is an associate of Maples and Calder's Regulatory & Financial Services team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office.  He provides advice on a wide range of regulatory matters, including Cayman Islands Monetary Authority licensing and registrations, AEOI, economic substance, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, and data protection.  Anthony's main experience is in advising ultra-high net worth individuals and families in all matters of Cayman Islands law, including with respect to the establishment, licensing and ongoing operations of single and multi-family offices and family-owned investment manager and fund vehicles in the Cayman Islands. He is also experienced in all matters relating to Cayman Islands work permits, immigration and permanent residency and has managed complex Cayman Islands migration and residency matters for ultra-high net worth individuals and families. 

BACKGROUND

Anthony joined the Maples Group in 2021.  He previously worked for another international law firm in the Cayman Islands and, before that, was based in Brisbane, Australia.  His work experience in Australia was with a top-tier international law firm, King & Wood Mallesons, where he was a senior associate in the firm's Taxation team.
