OVERVIEW

Zarmina is an associate and member of the Corporate and Finance team in the Maples Singapore office. She advises on a broad range of corporate and finance transactions involving Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands companies including mergers and acquisitions, pre-IPO financings, special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), initial and secondary public offerings, preferred share financings, private equity investments, joint ventures, reorganisations and restructurings. Zarmina also advises sponsors, financial institutions and corporations on debt financing transactions including leveraged and acquisition finance, debt capital markets transactions and general corporate lending.

BACKGROUND

Zarmina joined the Maples Group in 2023. Prior to this, Zarmina worked at Latham & Watkins in London, Hong Kong and Singapore, advising financial institutions, credit funds, corporates and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in Europe and Asia Pacific across a range of financings and capital structures including leveraged and cross-border acquisition financings, syndicated lending and project financings. Zarmina also completed a secondment at Goldman Sachs in London.
