Vimbai has significant experience in the fund services industry and is knowledgeable in fund structures and strategies as well as in fund accounting, investor services and client on-boarding.  He has worked on a wide range of alternative investment funds including hedge funds, fund of funds, segregated portfolio companies, private equity vehicles and related structures.


Previously, Vimbai was Vice President in the Maples Group's fund services team providing fund accounting services to investment fund clients.  Prior to this, Vimbai worked for MUFG Alternative Fund Services (Cayman) Limited (formerly UBS Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd.).  He was a Group Head, responsible for providing fund accounting and fund administration to a large and diverse portfolio of Cayman Islands domiciled hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds.  Vimbai also worked for Deloitte Cayman within the audit and assurance team focusing on hedge funds audits.
