OVERVIEW

Rachel is an Associate in the Maples and Calder Dispute Resolution & Insolvency team in the Maples Group's Dublin office. Her work includes advising clients across a broad range of contentious litigation matters including general commercial disputes, financial services litigation and construction disputes. Rachel also has experience in various forms of ADR, including in mediation and arbitration, in addition to strong experience in High Court and Court of Appeal litigation. She also manages the firm's solvent liquidation offering.

BACKGROUND

Rachel joined the Maples Group as a trainee in 2012. During the course of her traineeship she spent five months on secondment in the Maples Group Hong Kong office. Prior to her traineeship Rachel worked as a legal researcher in an independent statutory body and in a governmental department. She also completed a traineeship with the European Commission in Luxembourg. She is fluent in German.
