OVERVIEW

Niall is an associate of Maples and Calder's Asset Finance team in the Maples Group's Dublin office. Niall advises on transactions related to the acquisition, financing and leasing of aircraft across various jurisdictions. He has experience advising financial institutions and operating lessors on debt financing, aircraft funding platforms, asset backed securitisations, warehouse financing transactions and operating lease structures.

BACKGROUND

Niall joined the Maples Group in 2013.  Upon qualification in 2018, he joined the Finance team. Niall previously came from a business background and worked for 7 years in the investment fund industry, with particular experience in the fund administration sector. He was an Associate in the Transfer Agency department at Brown Brothers Harriman in Dublin. Prior to this, he worked with Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas in Australia in similar roles. During Niall's training with Maples and Calder, he was seconded to the London legal team of one of the leading ETF providers in Europe.
