OVERVIEW

Kieran is co-head of Maples and Calder's global Corporate practice and is based in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office.  He advises on a variety of investment funds, structured finance, private equity and general corporate matters. He is head of the Latin America team, and regularly advises clients originating from, and investing, into Latin America.  Kieran is also Chairman of the Group's Fund and Fiduciary Services.

BACKGROUND

Kieran joined the Maples Group in 2002 and was elected as a partner in 2006. He previously worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Madrid and, prior to that, for Clifford Chance and Maclay Murray & Spens. 

Kieran has been featured in Chambers Global, Latin Lawyer 250, Who's Who Legal, IFLR1000 and Legal 500 for his work on Latin American transactions. He provides client services on a bilingual Spanish and English basis.
