OVERVIEW

Karina is specialised in Brazilian Corporate Labor Law and is a KYC Due Diligence Officer with expertise in anti-money laundering, financial crimes prevention and risk mitigation.  She currently provides compliance services to Cayman Islands' Private Equity clients.

BACKGROUND

Previously, Karina worked at BNP Paribas in Montreal as a regional team leader, managing the due diligence and AML operations for the Brazilian branch.  Prior to this, she worked as a corporate lawyer for approximately four years.
