OVERVIEW

Emma is the Global Fund Registration Associate Counsel in the Global Registration Services team within the Funds & Investment Management Group in the Dublin office. Emma joined the Maples Group in 2015 as an Associate and has extensive experience in the establishment, authorisation and regulation of Irish regulated funds.

Emma's expertise also extends to the cross-border distribution of UCITS and AIFs, where she advises managers offering their funds throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific on both a private and public basis. Emma advises promoters, fund managers and investment banks which operate UCITS, ETFs and AIFs on the initial market entry / registration process together with ongoing maintenance and filing requirements to ensure compliance with all relevant local regulatory obligations.

BACKGROUND

Emma previously worked with a leading international financial services law firm and trained in a leading Irish financial services law firm.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Emma is a member of the Irish Funds Europe Distribution Working Group.
