OVERVIEW
Aristos is global head of the Maples and Calder's Dispute & Resolution team at the Maples Group. He is an expert in complex international insolvencies, restructurings and security enforcements. His practice focuses on the Cayman Islands financial services sector, dealing with banks, insurers, investment funds and financing structures that have collapsed or are in default, and representing clients in any resulting litigation. Aristos has particular experience in distressed investment funds, acting for funds, their directors, service providers and counterparties in a variety of major cross border disputes and crisis events.
BACKGROUND
Aristos joined the Maples Group in 2001 and was elected as a partner in 2003. He previously worked for Clifford Chance in London. Aristos has been recommended as a leading lawyer in Chambers Global, Legal 500 and Who's Who Legal.
