Maples and Calder Advises on the first British Virgin Islands Company to List on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange

Maples and Calder in Hong Kong has advised Winsway Coking Coal Holdings Limited on its proposed HK$5.1 billion global offering. Winsway will be the first British Virgin Islands company to list in Hong Kong since the Hong Kong Stock Exchange approved the listing of British Virgin Islands-incorporated companies in December 2009. Trading of Winsway’s shares on the Main Board of the HKSE is proposed to commence on 11 October 2010. Winsway is principally engaged in supplying and transporting Mongolian coking coal into China. MaplesFS is providing British Virgin Islands principal registrar services for Winsway.
