Maples and Calder, the Maples Group's law firm, is delighted to announce that The Legal 500 has recognised 57 of its lawyers across 17 practice areas in its Dublin, Luxembourg and Dubai offices in the 2022 EMEA Guide.
A record 17 practice areas received inclusion in the rankings this year, with nine Partners listed in the elite 'Leading Individuals' category. Furthermore, Dubai office Joint Managing partners, Philip Ireland and Manuela Belmontes were both included in the 'Hall of Fame' category, the highest legal ranking provided by the Guide. In addition, there were six lawyer recommendations for the firm's Luxembourg office across its Funds & Investment Management, Corporate and Tax practices.
Throughout the edition, clients praised the firm for being "very strong technically" with "excellent customer service". Clients also singled out the firm's "deep knowledge" with the ability to provide "practical and commercial advice".
Commenting on the rankings, Global Managing Partner, Jonathan Green, said, "It is wonderful that so many of our lawyers from across our EMEA offices have been recognised by The Legal 500 and I would like to congratulate them on their inclusion this year. The fact that client and peer feedback plays a key role in determining rankings speaks for itself and I am therefore very grateful to our clients and counterparts for taking the time to share their feedback."
