Hong Kong is one of the world's largest financial centres for IPOs, and is experiencing a market resurgence due mainly to renewed confidence in the Chinese economy. In this article, Richard Grasby and Richard Spooner examine the advantages of using one or more trusts with an IPO as well as how a merger can be used to take a company private in the context of a Cayman Islands company.
