Site Reliability Manager

Legal Support Services


The Site Reliability Manager will be responsible for supporting two line-of-business systems, which are key to the operation of Entity Services, these systems are called Darwin and eServices. The Site Reliability Manager will work as part of the Entity Services Development Team and will be the Team's point of liaison with the Production Operations Team.

The Site Reliability Manager will be primarily focused on supporting, and the on-going improvement of eService/Darwin, with the ability to make code changes and address key pain points independent of the development team, but working in conjunction with them and other IT teams, and spreading expertise across other application support team members.

  • Accurate issue tracking and triage.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects and escalate issues when needed.
  • Interacts with the Engineering Manager, Entity Services Developers and Production Operations on a daily basis.
  • Manage issues through to resolution, including when utilising resources in the Entity Services Development Team.
  • Create knowledge base articles documenting resolutions to problems.
  • Deliver clean, maintainable and scalable solutions.
  • Promote best practices in clean code and unit testing.
  • Keep up to date with emerging technology.
  • Mentor fellow colleagues, both in the team and the wider department.
  • Travel as necessary to work with globally distributed teams.
  • Be approachable and friendly.
  • Assist with any other duties/projects that may be assigned from time to time.


  • A Knowledge of handling support queries
  • 5+ years in production software development (specifically in the Microsoft Web stack).
  • Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET core.
  • Expertise in automated testing (unit and integration testing, TDD, BDD)
  • Expertise in Web and RESTful API development.
  • Expertise in CI / CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in micro service and event driven design.
  • Expertise in SQL data design and querying.
  • Knowledge of cloud services, preferably Azure.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks, such as Angular or React.

Training Requirements
