Position: Client Analysis and Reporting Analyst
Location: Montreal

About the Role
The Client Analysis and Reporting Analyst reports to the Manager – Client Analysis and Reporting (the “Manager”) and supports the Business Information department. Its tactical responsibilities feed one larger objective: will be responsible for client revenue reporting, revenue reconciliations, budget and forecasting models and subsequent evaluation thereof, client recoverability analysis and performance reporting on monthly and quarterly basis. Primary responsibilities include: 

  • assist in improving the operational systems, processes and policies in support of business performance monitoring, with an aim to increase overall effectiveness and efficiency of this function. The reports and information provided by the candidate are used by the MaplesFS senior business heads to proactively manage risk, measure efficiency, and make business decisions.

What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • will be a university graduate with 2 years’ of post-graduate work experience in revenue analysis, budgeting, forecasting and a strong background in performance reporting, preferably in a global, multi-currency environment;
  • must have advanced Excel skills including VBA Macro;
  • key skills required for this role include attention to detail and experience in handling large data, data analysis, and management reporting process improvements;
  • strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy are also critical;
  • fluency in English is required.
