About the Role

The Assistant Vice President reports directly to the Vice President.  Primary responsibilities include supporting the Fiduciary Services and Fund Services business with the following:  

  • Analyzing information provided by operators and administrators of Cayman Islands investment funds
  • Conducting controls testing reviews both remotely and on-site
  • Assisting with the preparation of written reports
  • Attending investment fund board of director meetings
  • Updating systems with relevant data
  • Assisting with client-related administrative functions; and liaising with other members of compliance services team, clients, investment managers; law firms and other third parties in various international jurisdictions.


In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following: 

  • University graduate in Business, Accounting, or other related field OR have a recognized qualification in an AML related field. 
  • Two years' relevant experience in a similar role. Preference will be given to candidates having worked in the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Cayman Islands investment fund industry and a solid understanding of Cayman Islands AML obligations and the roles of AML Compliance Officers and Money Laundering Reporting Officers.
