Position: Senior Vice President - Funds Fiduciary
Location: Cayman Islands

About the Role

The Senior Vice President will serve as director of a diverse portfolio of investment funds and related offshore companies and will assist with the provision of trustee services in our funds  fiduciary department.

 Primary responsibilities will include

  • The successful candidate will also assist the Co-Heads with the Supervision of a team of professionals in the Cayman Islands, including managing his or her own team of professionals.
  • The successful candidate's responsibilities while serving as director will include reviewing complex transaction documents, coordinating the client acceptance process, and participating in business development and marketing.
  • He/she will be required to  deliver high levels of client service while ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures.
  • He/she will be involved in and be expected to lead ad hoc projects, including budgeting and billing projects and will represent the Maples Group at various industry association events.


What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • He/she will have excellent organisational skills, possess strong attention to detail and be able to manage time effectively.
  • He/she will have effective problem solving skills and be able to remain calm under pressure.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to deal with all levels of staff.
  • He/she will be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications and knowledge of candidate self-service systems is desirable.
  • General knowledge of relevant labour laws in Canada, USA and the Cayman Islands is an asset.
