Mary's areas of expertise include infrastructure projects and project finance in the energy, road, rail, education, water, waste health, nursing home and housing sectors, with particular expertise in PPPs. She also provides advice on construction law and advises on all forms of Irish and international construction and engineering documentation. Additionally, Mary specialises in public procurement and competition law and acts as an expert to the OECD and World Bank on public procurement and project finance. She has drafted laws and procedures for many governments seeking to do business with the EU, such as Croatia, Macedonia, Jamaica and Morocco.

Mary joined the Maples Group in 2012. Prior to this she was a partner with a leading Irish law firm, from 2007 to 2012.
