Applications are invited by the Hong Kong office of the Maples Group for the position of

Analyst – Anti-Money Laundering Services

who will assist in the provision of regulatory services to our clients, primarily in Anti-Money Laundering.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting with establishing efficient procedures and processes and to support change management related to Anti-Money Laundering Services; ensuring compliance and risk policies are adhered to; collecting and reviewing of documentation to meet AML/KYC due diligence requirements; liaising with senior management, clients, investors, investment managers, and other third parties in various international jurisdictions; and managing client-related administrative functions.

The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel skills. In addition, he/she will have the ability to use initiative, to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

This post requires attention to detail, professionalism, ability to multi-task and having exceptional organisational, prioritisation and communication skills. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to adhere to policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE

Extensive AML knowledge in order to articulate the requirements of and developments to AML are critical to ensure effective communication both internally and externally. The successful candidate will be a university graduate with an excellent academic background, at least two years’ relevant experience in the AML industry. Practical knowledge of Cayman Islands AML legislation is preferred.
