Applications are invited by the Bermuda office of Maples Group for the 6-month temporary position of
Assistant Vice President – Corporate Services
who, under the supervision and direction of the SVP, will be responsible for the administration of a varied portfolio of companies and partnerships in accordance with Bermuda law and company policies and procedures.
This includes, but is not limited to; taking primary responsibility for preparing and reviewing documentation relating to the corporate administration of companies and partnerships, including new incorporations and partnerships formations; delivering high levels of client service, while ensuring that each client relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures; preparing, filing and/or obtaining all authorisations, consents, approvals, licences, validations or exemptions that are required by Bermuda law from any governmental authorities, agencies or regulator in Bermuda with respect to their portfolio of companies and partnerships; and ensuring that physical and electronic minute books are correctly maintained and all relevant documentation is accurately filed in accordance with policies and procedures.
Other skills required for this role include experience and knowledge of companies law, corporate governance and regulatory requirements He/she will also have strong drafting, communication and presentation skills. An understanding of investment funds and related securities and/or trust administration would be preferred.

The successful candidate will be a University graduate with an excellent academic background and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the corporate services industry.
