OVERVIEW

Martynna is an associate of Maples and Calder's Finance team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. She specialises in advising on numerous finance transactions including general banking and secured lending, fund financing (acting for both lenders and borrowers), aircraft financing, structured finance, in particular CLO transactions and repackagings and Cayman Islands Stock Exchange listings. She also advises on general corporate and commercial matters.

BACKGROUND

Martynna is a Maples Group legal scholarship recipient and began her training as a legal intern with the firm. She subsequently joined the Maples Group as an articled clerk in 2021. Upon her admission as an attorney-at-law in the Cayman Islands in 2023, Martynna joined the Finance team in the Cayman Islands office. 

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Martynna is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association (CILPA), 100 Women in Finance and GirlForce 100.
